Christine Tassan & Les Imposteures bring dazzling gypsy jazz, swing, and chanson with the charm and precision of a band that knows how to make a room move. Led by Quebec guitarist, singer, composer, and arranger Christine Tassan - one of the rare female soloists in the gypsy jazz world - the ensemble blends Django Reinhardt-inspired virtuosity with playful arrangements, rich harmonies, and an infectious sense of joy.

October 2026, at the Deming Art Center will feature the annual DAC Membership exhibit. Anyone who is a member of the Deming Art Center is eligible to participate and there will be a diverse body of work on display. The show will run from October 2-30, 2026. There will be a time to meet the artists on Sunday, October 4, 2026, from 1PM – 2:30PM and the public is invited. The center is located at 100 S. Gold St., in Deming, NM and is open from 10AM – 4PM, Mon – Fri, and 10 – 1PM on Saturday. For 34 years, the Potters' Guild of Las Cruces has partnered with El Caldito Soup Kitchen to turn art into action.

Grab a unique handcrafted bowl made by our local potters' guild and taste a variety of incredible soups from over 50 different local restaurants.

Each handcrafted bowl serves as a reminder that no one in our community should face an empty bowl. Join us in making a difference!

Las Cruces Board Gamers meets every Thursday at NMSU Corbett Center on the ground floor, at the windowed room across from Chick Fil e. We usually meet at NMSU though can also go to other areas depending on school schedule. We often favor medium-difficulty games (pandemic is a good example), and often have a wide variety of options for different tastes. Usually not as much "kill your opponent" games. Free and we'll have games so if you don't have one to bring, that's okay, just bring yourself!

The Gila Native Plant Society is offering free docent-led tours of Silva Creek Botanical Garden every Saturday morning starting at 9 AM, August 15. Tours continue on Saturdays at 9 AM through October 31 (except September 12). All ages are welcome. Enjoy and learn about our beautiful native plant garden at State and Virginia Streets, Silver City. No reservations necessary.

The guild has a social atmosphere for people interested in the art of quilting from beginners to professional quilters. Business meeting, show and tell of quilts, different drawings, quilt challenge, break for snacks/drinks before Program. Program is a project workshop at no charge. The Fall Fiber Arts Sale is a 2 day event offering a wide array of fiber arts for sale by members of the nonprofit SW Women's Fiber Arts Collective. Items are unique, one a kind garments, handweaving, knits, dyed silks, pine needle baskets, upcycled garments, and much more! Weaving for Justice, a Las Cruces nonprofit will also be featured offering many items from the Chiapas area. A great way to make your holiday shopping count by purchasing a unique item and supporting local artisans!
