The NMSU Lyric Theatre presents two performances of Engelbert Humperdinck's opera Hansel and Gretel, November 20 and 21 at 7:30 pm at Atkinson Recital Hall. The production is directed by Sarah Neely and brings the Brothers Grimm fairy tale to life through music, humor, and storytelling. Sung in English, this family-friendly performance showcases the talent and creativity of the NMSU Department of Music's Lyric Theatre program. Admission is free,

The 39th annual Studio Sale at Mimbres Hot Springs

On Saturday, November 22, 2025, The Studio Sale at Mimbres Hot Springs returns once again. This is our secand event following a 17 year hiatus of what was felt by many locals to be the joyous start of the holiday shopping season.
The hours of this one-day event will be 10 am to 4 pm.
We continue to affer many features that made the Studio Sale special for its first run. The Kid’s Room, where Valley children sold their wares, will now also have art projects to work on while parents shop. There will be door prizes donated by each vendor. Live musical offerings from local musicians. This year’s vendors include artists, craftspeople, and herbalists who have exhibited here before, plus new faces as well. There will be a free refreshments table stocked with contributions from each vendor, and lunch menu offered for sale.
The list of vendors includes herbalists Debra St Claire and Chelsea Rittchin, sculptor Yo Kalisher, jeweler Stephen Anderson, potter Kate Brown, Ginny Wolf, Juniper Bowers. Cheryl Howard. Keep your eyes open for the complete poster at various locations in the Mimbres and Grant County
The organizers of the Studio Sale invite you to again find wonderful gifts for holidays in a unique Mimbres Valley location.

Directions: turn off south Mimbres Valley Hwy 61 S between mile markers 19 & 20, onto Royal John Mine Rd and follow signs 2.5 miles to the Studio Sale. Call 575 536 9935 for more information. No pets please.
