Social time with coffee and goodies followed by a speaker on a topic of interest to the Parkinson's community. Caregivers as well as those diagnosed with Parkinson's are cordially invited.
Fort Selden Historic Site offers weekly ranger-guided walking tours. Participants will explore 1400 years of history beginning with the Mogollon, foragers turned farmers, who lived on this land as early as 400 A.D. to the Spanish in the late 1500s to the American military in the mid-1800s. The tour is included as part of general admission of $5 per adult. Children 16 years old and younger are free. NM residents over the age of 60 are free on Wednesdays.
Mesilla Valley Timebank Orientation
Join us for the Mesilla Valley Timebank Orientation to learn how you can exchange services and build connections in our community using time instead of money. Earn time credits by offering your skills and use those credits to receive services in return. Whether you need help or can offer it, the Timebank is a great way to get involved!

You're invited to visit a Los Chismosos Toastmasters club meeting, as our guest!
You will learn-by-doing, in a supportive and positive club setting that meets each Thursday on Zoom. The new "Pathways" program from Toastmasters International is designed to provide you with a safe, step-by-step way to learn public speaking skills.
You are free to select a "Pathways" track that most benefits you and aligns with your needs and interests.
When you join Toastmasters, you can stop worrying about your next presentation and get immediate feedback from experienced speakers. You'll discover a positive and supportive group, willing to help you take your first steps toward speaking with confidence.

Founded in 1984, Los Chismosos Toastmasters' membership includes faculty, graduate students, and staff at New Mexico State University as well as people in the business community, retirees, and those new to the area.
