April 2026 at the Deming Art Center will feature the wonderful designs and innovative creations of the Deming High School art students. It is always exciting to see what they have created, and we invite the community to support these young artists by stopping by to see for yourselves. The exhibit will be up from April 2 – 29, 2026. There will be a time to meet these talented student artists on Sunday, April 5, 2026, from 1-2:30PM at the Deming Art Center which is located at 100 S. Gold St., Deming, NM.

The El Paso Science Festival will take place April 18–19, 2026, at the El Paso Convention Center. From 10:00 AM - 5:30 PM. It is a free, two‑day community event that invites families, students, educators, and lifelong learners to explore science, technology, engineering, and math through hands‑on experiences. Attendees can expect more than 100 interactive exhibits with activities and experiments designed for all ages, especially Pre‑K through high school students. The festival also features live science demonstrations on a Main Stage and a speaker series where scientists, engineers, and innovators share real‑world insights and discoveries. The event is designed to inspire curiosity, encourage learning, and highlight the importance of STEM in everyday life

Greg Smith, a talented local residential designer with a rich background in architecture training, experience, and instruction, will guide us through the unique buildings of Lerdo, sharing insights into their design and structure.

These classes are for those people who can be helped with extending a healthy diet using common pantry items. Also learning from each other.

Enjoy interactive booths, community organizations, and live music starting at 6 PM featuring Frontera Bugalú, Era Snow, Desert Roots, The Mule Tones, and Muffin. Silent Meditation every Mon/Wed/Fri from 12 - 1 pm, located at 424 N Main St., Suite 500
