The World According to Sound, created by Chris Hoff and Sam Harnett, is an immersive live audio experience that asks audiences to listen differently. Surrounded by sound, listeners are taken through recordings, stories, research, and unexpected sonic landscapes that reveal the world through the ear instead of the eye. Blending public radio craft, sound art, and live performance, the show turns listening into a powerful shared experience

This dynamic tribute concert celebrates the timeless music of Billy Joel and Elton John with two powerhouse performers, live-band energy, and beloved hits such as Piano Man, Rocket Man, Crocodile Rock, and Just the Way You Are. Audiences can expect an interactive night of singalong favorites, rock-and-roll nostalgia, and piano-driven pop magic.

Nomad Ensemble presents The Long Breath, a chamber music program that highlights the expressive power of sustained musical lines, close ensemble listening, and the emotional depth of acoustic performance. Built around the intimacy of strings and chamber collaboration, the concert invites audiences into a reflective musical experience shaped by resonance, movement, and the quiet intensity of shared sound.

The program presents pieces for flute, violin, viola, and piano in various groupings throughout the evening. This 'modular' ensemble concept permits programming works for instrumental combinations that do not have large independent repertoires and so tend to be marginalized through no fault of their prodigious creative and expressive merit. Among the truly engaging pieces here are three fantastic works by women–Mel Bonis, Tatiana Nikolayeva, and Ester Mägi.

Join WNMU for its traditional holiday celebration for all ages, bringing the campus and community together for an evening of seasonal music, treats, games, activities, and department tree decorating. The event offers a warm, festive way to close the semester and share holiday spirit at Regents Square.

The Las Cruces Really Really Free Market is back, hosted by a group of local volunteers who believe in mutual aid, community care, and resource sharing.

This isn’t a sale or a swap — it’s a free community event where anyone can give or take items like clothes, books, household goods, toys, and more. There’s no money, no bartering — just people helping each other out.

Join us the first Saturday of every month from 10am - 2pm at 1701 Missouri Ave (Peace Lutheran Church).

We do this because we believe our community already has enough — enough resources, enough support — if we just find ways to share it.
