Applications are open for the 32nd Durango Autumn Arts Festival presented by the Durango Arts Center, on September 19 & 20, 2026. This fine arts and crafts juried show serves as the DAC’s signature fundraising event and welcomes artists from New Mexico. There is a $50 nonrefundable application fee. The application deadline is May 1, and forms are available online at www.durangoarts.org.
The University Art Museum proudly presents Where We Ended Up: 2026 MFA Thesis Exhibition, featuring artworks by NMSU Department of Art MFA Candidates, Arch Jones and Ezekiel Martey. This exhibition opens on May 1, 2026, with an opening reception from 5:30 - 7:30 pm and will be on display through May 16, 2026. This two-person exhibition showcases the culmination of both artists’ individual research and development during their time in the Department of Art’s graduate program. Where We Ended Up: 2026 MFA Thesis Exhibition features a variety of media and processes from ceramics and paintings, to found objects and immersive installation.
Creative Flow is a fun educational event that combines cutting edge neuroscience with the creative process. Come learn about key networks in the brain and how to activate them for optimal wellbeing. Take a few hours away from never ending digital content to create art and make a community connection. Hosted by Dr. Lisa J. Feinics, an educator and former scientist with a PhD in Neurobiology and Behavior, and Jean-Robert Beffort, a collage and assemblage artist who is an integral part of Silver City's art scene. Donations for art supplies are appreciated but not required.
Each year Gallery 925 invites Southern New Mexico’s and El Paso Printmakers and Photographers to submit work to this annual show. A huge variety of printmaking and photographic techniques will be shown.
The exhibition opens Friday, May 1st with a reception from 4 - 8 pm. The show runs for the entire month of May.
This invitational show also celebrates International Print Day in May. (IPDM)Print Day in May is an annual, global celebration of printmaking that takes place every first Saturday in May. It’s a worldwide printmaking action where tens of thousands of artists in over 80 countries make prints and share their work online, creating a community chain of creativity.
At the gallery, Saturday, May 2nd, starting at 10 am there will be free printmaking demos all day until 4 pm.
Join us as the Bachelor of Fine Arts students put on their thesis show, combining individual bodies of work into one joint show; Raw Perception. Pieces include, but are not limited to, oil paintings, steel sculpture, photography, and ceramics.

Join Cruces Creatives, Plugged In For Good, and Doña Ana Communities United for a community Fix-It Fair. This hands-on event brings neighbors together to repair small household items with the help of skilled volunteers. From clothing and small electronics to bikes and more, the goal is to reduce waste, share skills, and strengthen community connections.
The Fix-It Fair will take place on Saturday, May 2nd, 2026, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Cruces Creatives, 205 E Lohman Ave in Las Cruces, NM.
Items must be small enough to carry. Televisions, cellular devices, microwaves, gas engines, and large appliances will not be accepted.

Community members can bring broken household items for free repair at a Fix-It Fair on Saturday morning, May 2! At this event, skilled volunteers and Cruces Creatives team members will help folks fix their broken household items, including bicycles, jewelry, textiles, and small appliances. Carpentry and blade-sharpening are also available. The event and assistance are without charge.
The Fix-It Fair is made possible thanks to support from the Las Cruces Office of Sustainability.
The Really Really Free Market takes place every first Saturday of the month from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at 1701 Missouri Avenue in Las Cruces. It’s a community gathering built on solidarity, not charity — where everything is free. Bring what you can, take what you need, or just come hang out.
