Rehearsals begin for the Mesilla Valley Chorale's Spring concert, "I Hear America Singing." The first rehearsal will begin at 6:30 for registration and music distribution. All others begin at 7:00. Now in its third year, the workshop week, sponsored by the local group, The ten o'clock artists, offers again a wide variety of art classes including painting, print making, yoga and dance.
This year it spans over two whole weeks, March 16-29. The website has all the relevant information for everyone to get creative. All materials are provided. You only pay the course fee to explore a new hobby.

Do you have Parkinson’s Disease or care for someone who does?
Join this group meeting for people in our community who have been recently diagnosed with, or care for persons with, Parkinson’s Disease. The meeting is designed to answer questions about meds, doctors, symptoms etc. All members are invited to come, especially the long timers, as they have experience and wisdom to share.

The March 2026 Exhibit at the Deming Art Center will feature beautiful quilt creations. On display will be bed-size quilts, along with wall hangings, and smaller quilted items. Many will be for sale. This year’s show is juried (not judged) due to space limitations and open to entries from the public at large.The exhibit will be up from March 3-30, 2026. There will be a time to meet the quilt artists on Sunday, March 8, from 1-2:30PM. The Deming Art Center is located at 100 S. Gold St., Deming, NM.
