“Attention to Details: Watercolor paintings from a journey west to Deming”

“Attention to Details: Watercolor paintings from a journey west to Deming”, is the title of the January Exhibit at the Deming Art Center by local artist John Glass. The pursuit of art is a main focus of John’s daily routine. His works are accepted continually in state and regional competitions, along with awards from The Hoosier Salon , The Sarasota Art League, New Mexico Watercolor Society and the Master Works of New Mexico. Mr. Glass is still an avid outdoorsman, fisherman, motorcyclist, canoeist, hiker and tent camper resulting in many of his landscape and structural creations. John’s watercolor art includes realistic, impressionistic, figurative and an occasional objective abstract along with his commissioned works of homes, buildings, portraits and pets. Glass’s works are displayed at the, The Deming Art Center, Agave Artists, Mesilla, NM, and Trails End Gallery, Las Cruces. Many select originals and Giclee prints can be viewed by making an appointment to visit John’s studio at his mountain home outside of Deming, NM. The show runs from January 2-29, 2021. The Deming Art Center is located at 100 S. Gold, Deming NM, and is open from 10AM-3PM Monday – Friday and Saturday from 10AM- 12:30PM.
