January 3, 2014 – Las Cruces, NM - On this edition of PUENTES, Emily Guerra bridges the community with Las Cruces Press Women (LCPW) and New Mexico Press Women President, Cheryl Fallstead. She is also the Membership Co-Chair of the National Federation of Press Women and teaches photography at Doña Ana Community College. As a freelance writer and photographer, she provides valuable information for journalists and media communications specialists.
LCPW meets once a month at Good Samaritan Las Cruces Village, 3011 Buena Vida Circle. This month they will meet at 10 a.m. on Saturday, January 17th. The guest speaker will be David Morgan, Public Information Officer for New Mexico Department of Health, with the topic “Why Do They Do That? Understanding Bias in the News.”
