Anthony Moreno
Director of ContentAnthony Moreno serves as the Director of Content at KRWG Public Media. He also is host and executive producer for "Fronteras-A Changing America" and "Your Legislators" on KRWG-TV.
Every Saturday evening on radio, you can listen to Anthony present a review of top stories and interviews on "KRWG News This Week." Prior to serving in his current role, Anthony was the local FM host for Morning Edition from NPR News on KRWG Public Media for nearly a decade.
Anthony is from Kansas City, Missouri. He received his Bachelor of Arts in Communication from Pittsburg State University. As a student in the award-winning broadcasting program at Pitt State, he was introduced to National Public Radio by a professor. After an internship at a local NPR-member station, Anthony knew he wanted to pursue a career in public media.
Prior to KRWG, Anthony served as a local host for All Things Considered for a public radio station in Southeast Kansas, where he reported and produced local features from around the region, and produced a weekly university-focused interview segment.
Anthony enjoys movies, live music, hiking, playing basketball, watching his hometown sports teams, and trying new foods. He enjoys serving communities in Southern New Mexico and West Texas, along with exploring the rich cultural landscape that exists throughout the Southwest.
