A recent study in the Journal of the American College of Cardiology estimates the current prevalence of Atrial Fibrillation, or Afib, is significantly higher than previously estimated. Scott Brocato recently spoke with Dr. Charles Dow, the head of cardiovascular surgery at MountainView Regional Medical Center, about the current rise in AFib cases and preventative measures against it.
