Willie Madrid shares why he's running for vacant House District 53 seat

Last Friday, the Democratic nominee for House District 53, Dr. Jon Hill, passed away, days after having announced his withdrawal from the race amidst health concerns. KRWG Public Media has spoken with two of the three candidates for the seat, Sarah Silva and Kasey Peña. Today Scott Brocato speaks with the third candidate for the House District 53 seat, Willie Madrid.

Scott Brocato has been an award-winning radio veteran for nearly 40 years. He has lived and worked in Las Cruces since 2016. You can hear him during "Morning Edition" from 5am-9am weekdays.
