Emergency department medical director offers tips on how to prioritize safety during Fourth of July celebrations

Today is Independence Day, and many will celebrate traditionally by setting off fireworks. Scott Brocato spoke with Dr. Kristopher Crawford, medical director for Mountain View Regional Medical Center’s emergency department, about common injuries caused by fireworks, with tips on how to have a safe and injury-free Fourth of July.

Scott Brocato has been an award-winning radio veteran for over 35 years. He has lived and worked in Las Cruces since 2016, and you can hear him regularly during "All Things Considered" from 4 pm-7 pm on weekdays.
