The weekly music show Mountain Stage, which can be heard on KRWG Public Media Saturday nights at 6 pm, is celebrating its 40th anniversary. Scott Brocato spoke with its current host, award-winning Country and bluegrass artist Kathy Mattea; and Mountain Stage’s founder and original host Larry Groce, about the show and the diverse roster of artists it has presented over the past 40 years.
