Kat Crosby & the Rhythm Gators are preparing to jam with the Mesilla Valley Jazz and Blues Society in March during the society’s next monthly gathering.

The band includes Crosby on vocals and keyboard, her husband John Peterson on guitar, Dave Ferris on drums, and Lee McCartney on bass. Crosby is a singer/songwriter who performs originals and covers in the Las Cruces and El Paso area. She describes her take on modern blues music as having a “touch of jazz and the attitude of ‘Let the Good Times Roll.’”

Kat Crosby & the Rhythm Gators will take the stage at Alma d’Arte Charter High School on Sunday, March 15 at 7:00 p.m., following a 6:30 social and short society update.
