Join us for an informative demonstration with Las Cruces mixed media artist Laurie Churchill! In this relaxed session, Laurie will introduce the basics of using a gel plate to create colorful, textured prints that can be incorporated into beautiful collages. Using water-based paints and a variety of substrates, along with stencils and texturing techniques, you will learn how to create gorgeous gel plate-printed papers. Laurie will have examples to share and some finished pieces on display, allowing you to see the magic in action! Our meetings are free, and we welcome the public to get to know us.
