Dona Ana County Manager Scott Andrews will present a "Chartering Ceremony" for a newly-formed Toastmasters club for county employees and the general public on October 14th at 9 a.m. at the Dona Ana County Government Center in the Commissioners Chambers.

"DAC Voices Toastmasters was officially certified by Toastmasters International on September 17th. The event is free and open to the public.

The club meets each Thursday from 12 noon to 1 p.m. at the Dona Ana County Government Center. Guests are welcome!

The club's mission is to provide a supportive and positive learning experience in which members are empowered to develop communication and leadership skills, resulting in greater self-confidence and personal growth.

Scott Andrews has previously founded Toastmasters clubs in Georgia as well as in Bakersfield, California.
