A number of organizations have called on Governor Michelle Lujan Grisham to call off the special legislative session she called for to happen on July 18th over concern on the Governor's proposals on how to address public safety. Also, Texas may see an active hurricane season. Some in the state who were impacted by flooding from Hurricane Harvey are now facing a deadline to sue the federal government to get compensation.
