Jordan's Way raises funds for animal shelters with "social media-thons"

LAS CRUCES, NM - Kris Rotonda adopted an overlooked shelter dog about 13 years ago. After she died in 2018, Rotonda decided to travel to all 50 states to help shelters raise funds and get other overlooked animals adopted.

Jordan's Way will make its way through southern New Mexico this week with stops in Deming, Las Cruces and Ruidoso. Friday, December 10th from 10 a.m. -2 p.m., the event will take place at the Deming Luna County Humane Society . Then from 6-10 p.m. Rotonda will be at Action Programs for Animals Adoption Center in Las Cruces. Saturday, from 10 a.m.-2 p.m., they'll be at Animal Village NM in Ruidoso. 

Jordan's Way has raised $2.5 million dollars for animal shelters since January via social media-thons on the shelters' facebook pages.
