The City of Las Cruces Parks & Recreation Department, members of Las Cruces City Council and other City staff will break ground on the Regional Aquatic Center Competition Pool at 8:30 a.m. on Tuesday, July 13.
This Parks & Recreation project will be constructed north of the existing Regional Aquatic Center Complex located at the intersection of Hadley Avenue and Solano Drive by HB Construction at a cost of $15,215,200.
The new facility will include ten competition lap lanes, meet timing room, training room, lifeguard/first aid room, women’s & men’s locker rooms, and public restrooms. The facility will be 37,085 square feet.
Work is expected to start July 13, 2021 and is expected to be completed by December 2022.
