SANTA FE - The Motor Vehicle Division office now at 505 Main Street in Las Cruces has closed and is scheduled to reopen in a new location, 308 Wyatt Drive, Las Cruces, NM 88001, on Thursday May 6. The MVD office located at 3291 Del Rey Boulevard in Las Cruces is unaffected by this move.
All MVD offices are operating on an appointment-only basis, and no appointments had been scheduled for the Main Street office during the closure period.
Customers are reminded that many transactions, including license and registration renewals, can be completed at mvdonline.com. Customers needing in-person services are encouraged to use the MVD Direct scheduler at mvdonline.com.
Road tests can be scheduled only in counties designated green or turquoise on the state’s COVID-19 reopening framework.
