An employee at Alameda Elementary School reported a positive test result for COVID-19 on Monday. As a result, the school was closed Tuesday to allow for deep cleaning. This case brings the total number of LCPS employees who have tested positive to 12.
The staff at Alameda was notified Monday evening. The building is expected to reopen on Friday, Oct. 2.
