An early-morning fire in Sonoma Ranch damaged a home’s garage before being extinguished by Las Cruces firefighters.
Shortly after 1:30 a.m. Monday, April 27, Las Cruces firefighters were dispatched to the report of a fire in the garage of a home on the 2000 block of San Patricio Loop. The occupants of the home safely evacuated and firefighters contained the fire to the garage. The fire was extinguished within minutes.
No injuries were reported.
The fire damaged the garage and the home received some smoke damage.
The cause of the fire and damage estimates have yet to be determined.
