In response to the COVID-19 pandemic the following changes have been put in effect.
Roadrunner Lanes Bowling Center and Sparetime Lounge are both closed until further notice.
The Coyote Snack Bar will still continue to offer to-go meal
service. The Frontier Club and the Coyote Snack Bar will offer to-go only meal service.
Orders may be placed at the facility or phoned in ahead of time.
Social distancing practices will be implemented for placing and picking up
food orders. Payment will be made at the facility.
The Post Theater is closed until further notice.
Motor Vehicles Department services are by appointment only. Please call
ahead to schedule a time.
The Post Library will be pick up by appointment only. Patrons may call ahead
to check availability, reserve and schedule a pick up time. Talk to us about
online services if you haven't already set up your account!
Additionally, all Family and Morale Welfare and Recreation Libraries are
extending all due dates to May 11, 2020 and ensuring no one's account
expires due to interruptions in base library access. During this time FMWR
Libraries have also suspended the hold feature and have made online services
available to all patrons, even if you currently have billed items on your
account.
Sports, Fitness and Aquatics will no longer host group fitness classes at
the Fitness Center or Aquatics Center. Saunas at Bell Gym are closed until
further notice. Inflatable Sundays and parties at the Aquatics Center are
also suspended until further notice. The pool, main gym and annex remain
open.
Child and Youth Services is offering free breakfast and lunch to White Sands
children weekdays from 23 March through 3 April. Meals can be picked up
from the Middle School Teen Center. Breakfast will be offered from 0800-0830
and lunch will be offered from 1300-1330. Children must be present in the
vehicle with the parent for meals to be issued.
WSMR Arts and Crafts has cancelled all classes until further notice.

Army Community Services has cancelled all classes and playgroups hosted
there until further notice. Facilities are still open, classes are the only
activities impacted.
In all of our FMWR facilities we ask that patrons practice safe social
distancing and wash their hands upon entering the building. For more
