A University of Texas at El Paso student who returned from overseas travel tested positive for COVID-19 on Monday. The woman was directed to self-isolate by UTEP after she came back from an "extended overseas" trip Saturday. She has not been on campus since returning to El Paso. The University asked all students returning from overseas travel to self-isolate for 14 days. Students are on spring break now. University President Heather Wilson extended spring break from one to two weeks. And most classes will be taught remotely or online for the remainder of the semester.
