RoadRUNNER Transit will begin using several new downtown bus stops on Routes 1 and 2 on Monday, June 17. The stops were created as part of the two-way conversion of Water Street and Church Street which has been completed.
Route 1 will use Water Street for both inbound and outbound trips from the Mesilla Valley Intermodal Transit Terminal (MVITT), with a new stop (#1) at the corner of Water and Las Cruces Avenue (across from El Paso Electric Company).
Route 2 will use Church Street/Hadley Avenue/Campo Street for both inbound and outbound trips. The outbound route from MVITT will have a new stop (#1) at Church Street and Hadley Avenue (near the US Post Office). The incoming route to MVITT has a new stop (#56) at Church Street and Las Cruces Avenue (near Bank of the West parking lot).
