El Paso Electric Releases Request for Proposal for New Mexico Community Solar Program

New Mexico – El Paso Electric (EPE) today released a request for proposal (RFP) for Engineering, Procurement and Construction services for a utility-scale solar energy generating facility for its New Mexico Community Solar Project. This solar project is expected to have a combined maximum capacity of two (2) megawatts (MW). All proposals are due by February 4, 2019.

EPE will evaluate proposals to include considerations on overall project cost and bidder experience and will only consider submissions that can develop on the predetermined EPE-owned site. The proposed site is located near the intersection of highway I-10 and I-25 in Doña Ana County.
