Heinrich Questions Top Intelligence Officials In Senate Intel Committee Hearing

U.S. Senator Martin Heinrich (D-NM)

Commentary: Today, U.S. Senator Martin Heinrich (D-N.M.) questioned top intelligence officials during a Senate Select Committee on Intelligence open hearing on the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA). Appearing before the Committee were Director of National Intelligence Daniel Coats, Acting Director of the Federal Bureau of Investigation Andrew McCabe, National Security Agency Director Admiral Mike Rogers, and the Department of Justice Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein.

During the hearing, Senator Heinrich expressed his concern with Director Coats and Admiral Rogers’ refusal to discuss news reports that President Trump attempted to get them to interfere in the Russia investigation.
