Albuquerque police say a person suspected of stealing a car with a 4-year-old girl inside it has been taken into custody — hours after authorities said they found the girl unharmed in a New Mexico campground.
Officer Simon Drobik says detectives are also questioning the girl and her parents. He did not provide further details.
Police began their search for the 4-year-old Friday morning around 6:30 a.m., and found her before 8 a.m. at a KOA campground in Bernalillo, a neighboring town to the north of Albuquerque.

Drobik says police are still looking for a 2014 gray Ford Fiesta.

Albuquerque police are looking for a 4-year-old girl abducted during a carjacking in southeast Albuquerque Friday morning.
Officer Simon Drobik says police are looking for a gray 2014 Ford Fiesta with New Mexico license plate NHZ886. He says the girl's first name is Isabella and that she last seen wearing a T-shirt and tights.
The incident happened around 6:30 a.m. MDT.
No additional information is immediately available.
