Relatives Of Murder Victim Create Chaos At Bond Hearing

A bond hearing for the suspect in the killing of an 18-year-old Albuquerque man turned tumultuous after relatives of the victim became unruly.

The Albuquerque Journal reports (http://bit.ly/1kqYfK0) that family members of Arturo Villa rushed the judge and yelled in the courtroom at the bond hearing on Tuesday for 18-year-old Esias Madrid.

Judge Vidalia Chavez set the bond at $250,000 cash-only.

Villa's family members chanted "Justice for Arturo" and became disruptive. One woman had to be escorted out of the courtroom.

Police say Madrid fatally shot Villa at a party early Monday morning. He's been charged with murder, aggravated battery with a deadly weapon and tampering with evidence.

The fight broke out after a drinking game that went awry. Authorities are still searching for another suspect in the shooting. Two other men were injured.
