New Mexico Congressman Steve Pearce is hosting a Veteran's Town Hall this Friday in Ruidoso.
Andrew Welch, the new chief administrator of the Albuquerque VA Medical Center and staff will be in Ruidoso at Village Hall - Friday - to meet with area active-duty and military Veterans.
Organizers say this will be a good opportunity to discuss the new "Choice Cards" for rural communities more than forty (40) miles away from a Veteran's Medial Center.
Representatives will be there to discuss personal claims issues, help Veterans sign-up for benefits, and talk about VA programs.
The event is from 9:30 to 11:30 in the Village of Ruidoso Council Chambers.
A representative from the New Mexico Department of Veteran Services will also be on hand.
This is open to all military Veterans.
