Bruce Kite has submitted his resignation after serving as general counsel for New Mexico State University for the past 12 years. He will remain on staff through the end of the academic semester and will continue his academic responsibilities at DACC for the remainder of the term.
An online statement to the NMSU campus community read, "During his time as general counsel, he has provided the necessary guidance and leadership through many issues surrounding NMSU and has provided assistance throughout the years in the transitioning from one administration to another. His years of service and dedication are appreciated and we wish him the best in his future endeavors. Lisa Warren will serve as NMSU’s interim general counsel until further notice."
