Las Cruces – New Mexico State University police are investigating the death of a student who was found Saturday morning as a possible hit-and-run.
The Las Cruces Sun-News reports (http://bit.ly/rrdKSy ) that 23-year-old Eric Morris was found unconscious on the west side of the Las Cruces campus just after 7 a.m. Saturday. He had severe head and torso injuries and died at a hospital.
Police Chief Jaime Chavez says Morris may have been hit by a vehicle. No suspects have been identified.
