Human Trafficking Manual distributed by NM Attorney General

KRWG News – SANTA FE, N.M. (KRWG) New Mexico Attorney General Gary King has unveiled a manual for law enforcement officers about dealing with the growing problem of human trafficking.

The manuals will be distributed during law enforcement training sessions being conducted across New Mexico by members of the attorney general's staff.

King's office says the publication includes information on the types of human trafficking, the state's anti-human trafficking law, investigation techniques and developing cases.

It also contains resources for additional help and services.

The manuals were produced by the attorney general's staff, with the printing paid for by a federal grant.

King says the manual represents the next evolution in his anti-human trafficking initiative to combat what's been called modern-day slavery.
