NMSU CAMP (College Assistance Migrant Program) Starts 20th Anniversary on October 12

Las Cruces, NM – On this edition of PUENTES a la comunidad, bridges to the community, host Emily Guerra spoke with New Mexico State University College Assistance Migrant Program (CAMP) Principal Investigator, Dr. Cynthia Bejarano, about serving the college educational needs of migrant and seasonal farmworkers, dairy, and ranch workers from across New Mexico and Far West Texas since 2002.

Bejarano says they will start their 20th Anniversary celebration of NMSU CAMP on “Día de la Raza” Tuesday, October 12th from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. in front of the NMSU CAMP office at Milton Hall, Rm 16 with an Art Installation by Jesus Del Rio, “Mariposas Campesinas: Love Letters to Our Farmworkers.” More information available at camp.nmsu.edu and on Facebook – NMSU CAMP.
