Clearing the Air - Making sense of Climate Change, Air Pollution, and Energy Development in NM

Las Cruces, NM – On this edition of PUENTES a la comunidad, bridges to the community, host Emily Guerra spoke with CAVU (Climate Advocates Voces Unidas) Deputy Director, Liliana Castillo, about the second of a webinar digital conversation series – “Clearing the Air – Making sense of climate change, air pollution, and energy development in New Mexico.”

She says “on the series they talk about what is climate change, how it is impacting New Mexico, the changes we need to make to get to a sustainable, resilient economy in New Mexico. We are 50th in education, 3rd highest poverty rate in the nation and we have to do something different.” Registration is available online at cavu.org and Facebook.

Castillo was also proud of an Emmy CAVU won last fall for “Wildlife Without Borders” video series presented by the Rocky Mountain Southwest Chapter of the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences.
