Mesilla Valley Community of Hope and Covid-19
Las Cruces, NM – On this edition of PUENTES a la comunidad, bridges to the community, host Emily Guerra spoke with Mesilla Valley Community of Hope Executive Director, Nicole Martinez, about how life has changed at Community of Hope since the Covid-19 health crisis began. She said they are an organization that is considered an essential service and remain open to people experiencing homelessness. They can provide their clients with laptops for Telehealth to prevent community spread if someone becomes ill. Martinez said people can help with financial contributions and send donations to Mesilla Valley Community of Hope – 999 W. Amador, Las Cruces, NM 88005. To volunteer call 575-523-2219 and ask for a Volunteer Coordinator. More information available on their website mvcommunityofhope.org; and on Facebook – Mesilla Valley Community of Hope.
