Las Cruces, NM – On this edition of PUENTES a la comunidad, bridges to the community, host Emily Guerra met with The Center for Health Innovation Director for Prevention and Community Collaborations, Marisol Diaz, to talk to us about the “Alcohol Outlet Summit: Exploring the Alcohol Outlet Retail Environment in Las Cruces.” Dr. Edward M. Rubin, Psy.D, will be the moderator with two Keynote Speakers: Dr. Pamela Trangenstein, PhD, MPH, from the University of California at Berkeley; and Naomi Greene, second-year doctoral student at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, New York.
The Summit will be held on Thursday, January 17th at the Elks Lodge, 3000 Elks Drive from 11:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The event is free, and includes lunch from 11:30a.m. to 12:30 p.m. CEU’s are also available at $12 for Certified Prevention Specialist, Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselors, Certified Clinical Supervisors, and Certified Community Health Workers, and must register by January 15th.
