



November 7, 2014 – Las Cruces, NM - On this edition of PUENTES, Emily Guerra bridges the community with Project in Motion Dance Company (PIM) Assistant Artistic Director and Massage Therapist, Lauren Mendoza; and with PIM Board Member and New Mexico State University Fish, Wildlife and Conservation Assistant Professor, Dr. NikiHarings. Project In Motion is a non-profit aerial dance company founded in Indiana in 1998, and in New Mexico since 2000 with PIM Artistic Director and NMSU adjunct dance instructor, Hilary McDaniel-Douglas.
Project In Motion’s Third Annual “Above Borders Aerial Festival” will start Friday evening at 7, November 7th in a teacher’s concert featuring aerial experts from the U.S. and Canada - Sam Tribble from Los Angeles on Roue Cyr Wheel; Brandy Leary from Toronto on Aerial Rope; and Lisa Natoli from New York City, Aerial Fabric & Cabaret. Students of all ages, from beginners through advanced who are registered for the festival, will be evaluated for classes to be held on Saturday, November 8th and Sunday, November 9th;and a student’s informal concert and dance on Saturday evening.
