New Wayfinding Signs Installed at Las Cruces City Hall

Visitors to City Hall will now find the facility easier to navigate following the installation of new wayfinding signs in the lobby.

“The signs indicate the location of some of the most commonly sought offices and sections on the ground floor of City Hall,” said Interim City Manager Bill Studer.

Signs have been installed above City Council Chambers and the main entrance to the Community Development Department where business licenses and building permits can be obtained. New signs also show the way to Las Cruces Utilities offices where payments are accepted, and utility account assistance is provided.

In addition, new signs pinpoint the location of the City Clerk’s Office and lead the way to restrooms and elevators located in the north hall of the building’s first floor.

“Our intent is to make a customer’s visit to City Hall more convenient by providing clear directions the minute they enter the building,” Studer said.

Letters comprising the words on the signs are 8-inches tall except for the Council Chambers sign, which are 16-inches tall. The signs are large enough to be easily read from nearly any location in the City Hall lobby.
