More Essential Worker COVID-19 Testing in Las Cruces

CDC

SANTA FE –The New Mexico Department of Health announces its latest drive-up screening for the COVID-19 coronavirus for all essential workers Wednesday, April 29th at the Las Cruces Public Health Office, 1170 N. Solano Dr. from 7 am to 12 pm or while test supplies last.

The screening is the third “test and go” opportunity scheduled within the last two weeks for all Doña Ana County essential workers – with or without COVID-19 symptoms - to include: first responders, health care workers, long-term care workers, child day care staff, government employees, utility workers and any employees of all essential business.

Please try to limit two people per vehicle to avoid unnecessary risk for viral spread. No insurance is required for screening.

For more information the Department of Health has added several new features recently to its COVOD-19 website, https://cv.nmhealth.org/ including testing locations, information by county, demographic information for positive cases and the ability to track cases by zip code.

In addition, New Mexicans can continue to call with health-related questions to the Department of Health’s coronavirus hotline at 855-600-3453. For non-health-related questions or concerns call 833-551-0518 or visit newmexico.gov.
