LAS CRUCES - Road construction near the Field of Dreams caused traffic delays Friday morning, prompting officials with Las Cruces Public Schools to open additional parking options.
Parking is now open at the soccer fields next to the Field of Dreams, accessible from Bruins Lane. The stadium normally is accessible from Tashiro Road and Valley Drive, but upgrades at the intersection forced a road closure, causing traffic congestion on Motel Boulevard, currently the only access point to the Field of Dreams.
