Eleven states – Texas, Oklahoma, Alabama, West Virginia, Tennessee, Arizona, Louisiana, Utah, Wisconsin, Maine and Georgia – announced yesterday that they’re suing the Obama administration over its recent directive that all public schools must allow transgender students to use the bathroom they feel corresponds with their gender identity.
This is the latest escalation in the increasingly national fight over transgender rights.
