Fronteras 1008- Personal Stories Of New Mexico Featured In New Book

A new book shares personal essays viewing New Mexico through the eyes of Chicano and indigenous writers who share stories of unique identities but offer a shared love of their homeland of New Mexico.

The Book titled “Querencia: Reflections on the New Mexico Homeland” is edited by Dr. Spencer Herrera, Assistant Professor in Spanish at NMSU, Dr. Vanessa Fonseca-Chávez, Professor of English at Arizona State University, and Levi Romero, New Mexico’s first Poet Laureate and Assistant Professor of Chicana and Chicano studies at the University of New Mexico. They share a preview of the book with Anthony Moreno.

Anthony Moreno serves as the Director of Content at KRWG Public Media. He also is host and executive producer for "Fronteras-A Changing America" and "Your Legislators" on KRWG-TV.
