The Academy for Learning in Retirement's four-part series in May will discuss “The Art and Science of Food.” Our first presenter on Tuesday, May 14 will be Dr. Efren Delgado, head of NMSU’s Department of Family and Consumer Science. His topic will be “Trends in Food Science.” He will give a live presentation at the Doña Ana Community College – East Mesa auditorium that will also be available as a Zoom broadcast. There will be free cookies and coffee before his presentation in the nearby Student Resources Building.
Audience members may register for the Academy for Learning in Retirement’s four May sessions or for all 20 ALR Spring presentations by searching on the Web for DACC_ALR. People may also register with cash or checks at the door. ALR will send announcements and Zoom links to registrants on the evening before each presentation. Registrants may attend at the auditorium or may log in on Zoom after 10:00 a.m. and each presentation will begin at 10:30 a.m. Free coffee and cookies will be available from 9:45 a.m. to 10:15 a.m.

Join us for a presentation by Yoli Martinez, Customer Service Representative, as she explains her role in making a visitor's experience at the New Mexico Farm and Ranch Heritage Museum as enjoyable and educational as possible. Come share an hour of coffee, tea, baked goodies and conversation with Yoli and friends of the Museum.
