Families are invited to a Free Car Seat Giveaway & Safety Clinic on Friday, January 9, from 12:00–2:00 PM, at the Community Foundation of Southern New Mexico.

If your child’s car seat or booster seat is expired, damaged, recalled, or no longer the right fit, you may be able to receive a new car seat at no cost, while supplies last. Trained Child Passenger Safety Technicians will inspect seats, help with proper installation, and make sure children are riding safely and in line with New Mexico child restraint laws.

Families can also enjoy free books and family resources during the event.
