Framed: An Evening of Dance on Film will be held March 17-19 at 7:30 and March 19 at 2:00. The concert features 20 NMSU student and alumni dancers in work by Dance Program faculty members Amy A. Wright, Applehelen Kirby, Ana Suffle`, and George Torres Jr., and special guest artist, Professor Emerita Debra Knapp. The dances in the concert will include Contemporary, Jazz, and Latin Dance styles in choreography devised for film. In the midst of the uncertainty still caused by Covid when we began planning, we made the decision to host this year's annual concert as an online streaming rather than a live event. This format has given us the opportunity to provide our students with a new and unique experience as we've created dances outside of the theatre space and specifically for the camera. We hope it is a unique experience for our audience as well, with something for everyone to enjoy. Tickets are $10 for a general watch pass and $5 for NMSU students.
