Weekend Construction On I-25 And Missouri Avenue

Las Cruces, NM: The New Mexico Department of Transportation (NMDOT) will be performing maintenance bridge repair work along a portion of I-25 within Las Cruces. The NMDOT will be working during the weekend to minimize the amount of traffic impacted due to lane and speed restriction.

The NMDOT will place lane closures on I-25 between mile markers 3-2, which will affect the southbound traffic with a 12 foot width restriction in place while work is being performed. Additional lane closures and speed reductions will be on Missouri Avenue between South Triviz Drive and S. Don Roser Drive. The restrictions will start on Saturday, July 14, 2012-Sunday July 15, 2012 from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

This closure will allow the maintenance crew to work in a safe environment while securing the safety of the traveling public. Detours will be placed throughout the construction work zone with law enforcement present.
