EL PASO, TEXAS – In observance of Hispanic Heritage Month, Visit El Paso has a new display at San Jacinto Plaza. The display was designed to look like a piñata in honor of our community’s Hispanic roots. Pinatas are traditionally included in El Paso festivities like children’s birthday parties and Christmas celebrations. The display will be up from September 15 – October 15. “We recognize the contributions the Hispanic community has made and continues to make to the city of El Paso. In honor of our city’s large Hispanic community, we have created a new display located in the San Jacinto Plaza.” said Bryan Crowe, General Manager for Destination El Paso.
