Las Cruces police are investigating a Friday morning shooting that injured a 36-year-old man.
Shortly after 3 a.m. Friday, April 17, Las Cruces police we’re dispatched to the report of a shooting at a mobile home park on the 900 block of east Madrid Avenue. Officers learned a 36-year-old man was shot at least once in his abdomen and transported to Mountainview Regional Medical Center.
The victim’s injuries do not appear to be life-threatening.
Investigators learned the identity of a possible suspect and are continuing to investigate the incident.
No charges have been filed at this time.
